The immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal. Road Safety Commission, Osita Chidoka, has been named the Minister of Aviation.

Chidoka replaces Princess Stella Oduah, who was sacked about two months ago by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also given a portfolio on Wednesday was Abubakar Suleiman, who emerged the Minister of National Planning.

Named as Chidoka’s replacement as Corps Marshal of the FRSC was Boboye Oyeyemi.  Chidoka and Suleiman were screened and confirmed last week by the Senate.

Chidoka handed over the reins of the FRSC on Tuesday.
